Installing Vista with different SP than original SP

Hello, I have a quick question.

I lost my vista disk but I still have the serial as it is on my case. The original install was with SP1.

If I use a Vista SP2 disk to reinstall will the serial be valid if it is a serial for SP1?

Yes, providing it's the same Vista version as the original, like OEM Home Premium or Ultimate, Upgrade Home Premium or Ultimate Upgrade. So long as the versions match the SP2 will be fine.
