Installing windows 10 on a laptop with windows 10 already

So heres a question i hope someone can answer. Was going to purchase a laptop for my parents at a brick and mortar store and it has windows 10. I imagine it will have some bloatware on it. So i was wondering if it was possible to install windows 10 that i have on dvd onto the laptop and then use the existing laptop windows 10 serial to activate it. It will be the appropriate windows version on dvd as does the laptop have, ex - windows home to windows home, whatever you want to call it but they are matching versions. I know you can just uninstall all the bloat but this just popped into my mind and was curious to see if anybody had done it. I figure it would give you the cleanest install without having bloatware and keeping windows activated. thanks

A simple answer would be, YES you can perform a clean install of Windows 10 on your laptop and can use the same product key to activate the operating system as long as the flavor is identical.

However, during the activation process, you may need to talk to Microsoft's Customer Support Team and provide them the needed information about your identity so that they can help you with the process and update their records accordingly.
