Installing Windows 10 on SSD

I have windows 7 and I am eligable for windows 10 upgrade but I would like to put my windows 10 on an ssd. I currently have win7 on a hdd. Is there any way to upgrade and have it install on an ssd even though my win7 is currently on a hdd?

You can't do both at the same time.

Two ways ahead:
1. Upgrade to Win 10 on your current drive
Then either migrate or clean install Win 10 on the new SSD

or

2. Get your current OS (Win 7) on the SSD.
Then Upgrade that to Win 10.
