installing windows 10 to a 32gb usb flash drive

Is it possible to install windows 10 onto a 32gb usb flash drive. Not for installation of windows onto a hard drive but to actually use the 32gb flash drive as the hard drive for the computer and have windows 10 installed on the flash drive. If so how? Everything I see on google and youtube is for making the flash drive bootable to install windows 10 from the flash drive onto a hard drive. When you put windows 10 on the flash drive via microsoft media creation tool, or rufus it will not let you install windows 10 to a flash drive. I even formatted the flash drive to NTFS file system. Also pluged it into the usb 2.0 port instead of the 3.0 port. using pny 32gb usb 3.0 flash drive. Using a msi z270-a pro mother board. Cpu: g3900 intel. g.skill 4gb ram.
