I recently finished building my first PC. All I need to do is install Windows 7. I have it on disc and I have an Optical Drive. When it starts it's download it gives me all these different blue screens. It says the SSD and HDD are in MBR and need to be PGT. How do I do that without the OS installed? I have an old PC with VISTA on it. Should I take the HDDs from that and install 7 to that then switch the 7 to my SSD? I've spent a lot of money on my components and don't want to ruin anything. Please help!

First you should only have the OS boot drive connected to the pc so shut it off and disconnect the hdd.
During install, and you may need to click the Drive Options link, On the screen that lists the drives you click on each partition and then click delete until you have nothing but "Drive0: unallocated xxxxx GB" left. Now click next and windows will handle setting up and formatting the drive.

Be sure to have backed up anything on the dive that was important first because this will erase everything.

I tried that and it keeps saying that the SSD is in MBR and I need to switch it the PGT or whatever. I was thinking that I should take the SSD to my friends and use his PC to Format the drive correctly. You said windows should handle formatting, but it gives me that Blue error screen with PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.
