I am trying to install windows 7 on a h410 motherboard with g6400. I am installing using a usb key. When I selected to boot from the usb, I press any key to start the installation. When I get to the windows 7 swirly logo the screen freezes.

I tried to turn on CSM in the bios but when I do this I lose video signal and I have to reset CMOS to return to default bios setting. Is there anything I can do?

thx

Yeah, you should stop, right there. Work with Windows 10 alone. The nightmare you're going to face in order to install drivers for that concurrent platform with an older OS is pointless.
I plan on installing windows 7 to use my windows 7 cd key. then I'll update my activated windows 7 to windows 10 to have my motherboard registered as activated. then I plan on a clean windows 10 install. I can't figure out how to get over the CSM problem.
