Installing Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM.

I built a system as gift to my wife and purchased windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM and find myself unable to install or set it up. What should I do?

What are the basic specs for your system? Also, what exactly is happening when you attempt to install Win 7? Need some more detail here to point you in the right direction.

If you can't get the computer to load off of the DVD make sure your Bios is booting from the DVD/CD drive first.

If you are loading the DVD and it freezes, how much time did you give it?

Please list all your specs of the computer.
