Does anyone know of a way to install the OS, while running the OS?

Like, I have a new SSD, that I've put into my rig, and formatted. But the long term goal of that SSD (Corsair Geforce GS 128gb) is to run on it's own, in a different rig, with a 1TB secondary storage.

I know there's the option of cloning the current active drive(in this case it would be my M2 SSD), to the new one(the Corsair), then changing the boot order in the new rig, but I'm looking for a clean install, not a clone of my drive. (building for fam, I'd rather not copy all my stuff to my fam's new computer)

Hello... The OS "kernel" gets "compiled" after determining the hardware it will be working with (installation)... thus running on other hardware/MB will not give good results. B /

No.
You need to install the OS, while the drive is in the system where it will live.
(if I am reading this correctly)
