Installing Windows 7 on a new PC using USB & yumi help

So when I'm trying to install Windows 7, after I choose the upgrade option, I get a compatability report saying to remove the installation disc, turn off the pc, and insert the installation disc again. I tried but nothing changed, also tried switching the usb to a 3.0 port but now it led me straight to the upgrade option only this time I get a message saying that my HDD was not found. Please help!

For an upgrade you usually boot your existing OS , stick the disk in and run it from the version of windows you are upgrading from.
Which OS are you upgrading from?

If you are installing windows to a new (blank) harddrive and dont have windows already installed the you need to chose CUSTOM install and not Upgrade.

Ah, I thought I needed to choose upgrade... But even if I choose Custom it gives me a message saying that my HDD was not found. But it does show up when I went to the BIOS menu...

First enter the bios and set the hdd as the primary boot device, not the optical or usb drive. Then save and exit
Press the F-key that corresponds to "Select Boot Device" and then boot the UEFI: option that matches your installation media (USB or Optical Drive) it will say UEFI in front of it in big letters so dont pick the one without it.

Enter the bios and disable secure boot, you may also need to enable legacy mode or enable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) and try again.

The SanDisk USB I used doesn't show up with any UEFI to it, it only shows my HDD & my USB but no UEFI in front. I then used a Lexar USB but now when I boot the UEFI one in the "Select Boot Device" it gives me this when I boot it: http://imgur.com/TvmrCXK
It doesn't lead me past the Windows logo anymore...

So I plugged my SanDisk again and messed around a bit in the BIOS, turned RAID to Native and worked! Went into Custom and waited for the installation to end, but at the worst possible time, after it got done resetting, I get a message saying "Windows Setup could not configure Windows to run on this computer's hardware." So am I supposed to get a new HDD? I have a Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5".
