I'm trying to install Windows 7 on my Zenbook through a USB stick. This, however, is troublesome because it only has usb 3.0 ports and if you try to install Windows 7 on a usb 3.0 port it gives an error at start. It asks for CD/DVD drivers. All the things I've tried haven't worked. I've tried letting the install program browse and directed it to the chipset drivers but that didn't work. I tried imbuing the drivers into the install itself, but that didn't work either. What am I to do?

If you have an old USB 2.0 stick, they will usually work as the 3.0 ports support 2.0 mode, which the MS installer has drivers for -- Windows 8 supports USB 3 installs but 7 doesn't have the drivers.

And HERE are instructions to add the USB 3 drivers to your USB installer files if you only have a USB 3 stick.
When the Windows installation starts i get "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing"

I can browse for a driver. I downloaded this driver: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/DriversForWin8/USB3.0/USB3_Intel_Win7_64_VER25334.zip. I tried using the drivers in the HCSwitch and xHCI folder (didn't know which one to use) and I just get "No device drivers were found". (Note that I have the drivers on the c: drive because for some reason it doesn't let me browse the usb drive).
