Installing Windows 7 on SSD

I am planning on purchasing a SSD to speed up my system of course, but also to do a clean re-install of my OS, as I believe it to be compromised by malware that has been hard to get rid of, even using MalwareBytes and other programs. MWB finds it, but it can't clean it up, plus I have some corrupted files. The problem is, I didn't get a Windows 7 disk with my system, and it should be somewhere on my disk, though I'm not sure where, but even if I find it on there, how do I assure that it is not infected in any way? How do I get a clean copy of Windows 7 to use with my product key? And then how do I install it on the SSD, making sure I don't pass the infection to the new drive?

How do I tell if I have a restore partition? I think I have one, but I can't access it to see what files are in there. Can I install it to the new SSD from POST?
