Hi guys,
I am currently running windows 10 on a Samsung 960 evo m.2 ssd. I really don't like the recent updates for windows 10 and are causing me some problems, so I'm looking to reinstall windows 7.

Is there anyway to install windows 7 onto an m.2 ssd using a USB? Everytime I try to install using an ISO and USB, I get a message "A required CD/DVD drive device is missing. If you have a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.".

My USB is being recognised in BIOS but it doesn't detect it during that part? (I am using a USB2.0 slot for the ISO USB)

Would appreciate some help, Thanks guys :)

idk why ppl still resort to win7 in 2018. with the hardware you have i dont see any issues with them and they are fairly brand new. if they were components from 5 years ago i would understand, youd have more issues with win7 drivers over new components. but most win10 are easily resolvable with driver updates from your motherboards support site starting with your chipset driver.

Unfortunately, the recent Falls Creator's Update completely ruined my mouse sensitivity in certain games, I've been trouble shooting it for 2 months now, bought a new computer and still getting it. Windows 10 has so many issues with it I would rather just do a fresh windows 7 install.
