Installing windows 7

good day all,i have a Packard bell laptop easy-note ts11hr,i replaced the hard drive(old one packed up) but i have does my recovery disc,it came with windows 7 home basic 64 bit,i have a windows 7 home premium 64bit CD i bought from when i build up my desktop,now will it work if i use this disk and and use the serial number at the bottom of the easy-note laptop,would it be legal and work?thanks so much guys!!!

The Windows Product Code on the base of your laptop is valid only for the pre-installed copy of Windows which it had when it left the factory.

If you want to install your retail Home Premium version you have to use the Product Key that was supplied with it, or buy a Product Key from Microsoft.
