[SOLVED] Installing windows off a USB-Stick

Hello,
i want to install windows on an old pc of mine, but it just wont work. When i start the PC it always says "insert boot device".

• I made two different installation sticks with the media creation tool. And tried several different configurations with RUFUS.
• I have enabled legacy mode
• I have set the USB-Stick as the first boot device (Notice: it wont name the stick, it just says "removable dev.")

My hardware:

• Processor: AMD FX 6300
• Mainboard: ASUS M5A78L-USB 3.0
• RAM: 8GB DDR3
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

Pls help me, im quarantined and want to play some games haha

Have you brought up a boot menu to choose the boot device. If so, what are the names of the choices?

You shouldn't have to use Rufus at all.

Thanks, i dont know, why i have missed the boot menu. It works so far.
