Installing Windows on a new HDD with Legacy Boot

Hi,

I've got a problem installing a Windows 7 x86 (downloaded from a torrent) on a new HDD.

I burn a DVD with the files, set the new HDD, boot, start ASROCK Instant Flash. It says, I've got no "Boot File" on the disc.

I tried another torrent, I tried on the USB ... the same .

What file extension should I be looking for? Am i going wrong with the Instant Flash?

you need an .ISO file

You can download these ISO files from Microsoft here:http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download

or you can torrent them

use either of these tools to create a usb flash drive to boot from:

Alsmost - you had to tell me, that i need to make the USB Boot Ready & that Instant Flash is not the right way.

What's instant flash? And yes, either one of those tools I linked will make the USB drive, bootable.

ISOtoUSB has a checkbox which i didnt check - i had to burn the ISO a second time with it this time checked.
