I'm building my first PC in a couple of days and I'm completely new to all of this. I'll be installing it off of a USB drive, but as far as the installation process itself goes, as well as drivers and all that I'm a little confused and overwhelmed. Can anybody link me to some tutorials or videos that break it down well? Thanks!

Yeah I found it already thanks though! So from what I gather you really have most of the info you need... My reformats usually go like this:

One thumb drive for Windows install
One thumb drive for mobo drivers if needed and video card driver if I already have it downloaded
Don't forget wifi drivers if needed!

Boot to usb. Follow on screen prompts. Boot to windows. Install drivers. Profit.

OK im not sure why he just linked you the Windows creation tool for Windows 10 but don't worry, I'll actually answer your question!

First off, it is recommended that you go to your motherboards manufacturer website and download the latest drivers for the corresponding operating system you want to install...

How exactly are you executing this USB install?

NCIX tech tips made a pretty good video explaining how to format a thumb drive so that a pc can instal windows off of it. I was just going to do that. The OS i'm going to use is 8.1, and I'm just going to use the product key from the one inside of the CD case I ordered off of newegg along with my pc parts.

Just as long as you make the USB drive correctly you should be ok. Nowadays Windows comes with a decent amount of drivers for things... I'm going to look up that video just to see where you are at planning wise. BRB!
