Installing Windows without GPU?

So I'm waiting on my graphics card and I was wondering if I can install windows 7 without it. I've already turned my PC on and had a look at the fans, temperatures, and stuff like that. So is it safe to install windows or should I wait for my graphics card?

You don't need Windows to install the GPU, you would probably have to need windows installed anyway to get the drivers for the card up and running.

My PC has been running Windows without a dedicated GPU for almost a year now while i scrape enough money together for a GPU...

You can install windows w/o GFX card .... just use the IGP on the MoBo.
