Installing Windows xp from a formatted hd

I'm trying to install Windows xp on my pc, it previously had Windows 7 so I formatted the hard drive. I have Windows xp on a disk but when I tried to do the install the install button is greyed out.

You need to boot from that Win XP install disk.
Is that what you are doing?
