Installing Windows XP over Windows 7

Hi!

I'm trying to install windows xp on my acer aspire one d270-1596 (It's pre-loaded with windows 7 starter), but every time I start the installation process for xp by booting it from the dvd... it loads a few things and then it blue screens and gives me an error. How do I overcome this?

Please let me know if more details are needed as well!

during the installation of XP you need to load the chipset drivers or you need to slipstream them into the XP CD

u have to do that on another partition 7 over xp doesn't work xp over 7 works 😉
