Insufficient video memory error

When I run War Frame (on max settings) after an hour or so the game will crash and freeze my computer forcing me to restart. The error message that pops up is "Insufficient video memory" it is getting really annoying. How do I fix this error?

cpu AMD FX 8350
mobo is asus aura 970 pro gaming
ram ddr3 8gb 2133mhz
GPU gtx 1060 6gb
vram 6gb
700 watt power supply

Update drivers and hope it's not the most likely issue, a memory leak in the games coding. Some games have bugs which cause them to slowly use more and more memory until it crashes. In those games, you might have to save and log out of it once in a while.
