Question Intake or Exhaust?

I am buiding in a LianLi o-11 case. There is no place to mount fans in front but there is room for three 120 fans on the side. There is no place for a rear fan either.
I will have a 240 rad at the top. I could put two 120's on the bottom. What would be the best orientation for the side fans? intake or exhaust?

Generally, front, bottom, and side fans are intake. Rear and top fans are exhaust. Seems like this would serve your needs just fine.

Yes, that is how most fans would be oriented. Some will also have arrows to indicate airflow and fan turning direction.

Unless you're mounting a radiator on the front side, do not install exhaust fans on the top side of the case towards the front before it gets to the CPU. Doing so basically causes the intake air to get immediately sucked out.
