Hi guys

I am looking to buy a new PC, and have found a desktop replacement that perfectly suits my needs. The only thing I am wondering about is whether or not the GPU is good enough gaming-wise. I occasionally play strategy games like Civ, Endless Legend, Age of Wonders and the like, and will be playing future releases in the genre. I never play other types of games. The details are:

Intel® Core™ i5-5200U processor (5. generation; 3 MB cache, 2,70 GHz)
8 GB 2 DIMM (2x4 GB) DDR3L 1.600 MHz

The i5 should definately be enough CPU-wise, but what is your opinion about the integrated GPU for these kinds of games?

Thank's a bunch!

Yes, you should be above to play those games with decent frames, using Intel's fifth gen integrated graphics HD 5500, as long as you keep the graphical fidelity to medium @720/1080p resolutions.

Minimum System Requirements:

Civilization V: Brave New World

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 64 2.0 GHz
CPU Speed: Info
RAM: 2 GB
OS: Windows XP SP3/ Windows Vista SP2/ Windows 7
Video Card: 256 MB ATI HD2600 XT or better, 256 MB nVidia 7900 GS or better, or Core i3 or better integrated graphics

You may still be able to play this game with low/medium graphical fidelity @720p with Intel HD 5500. Give it a try]

Thank's yeskay! I'm not too comfortable buying a new pc that might just make it on a 2015 game. What about 2 years from now? Will have to consider maybe a desktop, that I can also upgrade when the time comes, instead of it being simply obsoleted by progress.
Are there any GPU's that you can recommend that work decentenly, but not necessarily suberb, and will continue to do so in the near fututre, as far as we can tell now?
