I have two computers. Computer 1 is a HP Envy, as seen here:

Computer 2 is a HP Pavilion 500-214 Series, as seen here:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04100368/
The Envy is mine, and I upgraded the graphics card a while ago and the owner of the Pavilion wants my old card. He puts the old card in, starts it up, and it runs for a few seconds and then goes to a black screen. I then do some research and find that you should disable the integrated graphics first, but couldn't find a tutorial for the 500-214 series specifically. But I followed some tutorial for a computer close in number.
I find the integrated card in the device manager, disable it, and try the card and nothing. The tutorials are saying that it should SAY intergraded graphics, but it was reading like an actual graphics card that wasn't the new one we wanted to install. When I disabled it, nothing happened. So I tried some other stuff. So I'm not even sure if I was disabling the card, I could find the name of the integraded anywhere online, if they even have names. It read something like Radeon HD 8750D
Tried going into the BIOS and turning it off, but couldn't find integrated anything anywhere. Tried turning off legacy support and the boot something something, as I had this problem with my new graphics card, and still nothing.
Now I'm just stuck. We did do any research, it was a spur of the moment thing as he had it apart to clean anyway so let's throw the card in and see what it does kind of thing. I'm not really sure what to try next, as I've exhausted the extent of my GPU knowledge.
It could just be that the cards aren't compatible, but both computes are HP and the card is HP, so we just kind of assumed.
Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance!
