[SOLVED] Integrated Radeon HD 4200 GPU has failed on M4A785T mb. Can I add a PCI graphics card?

Both outputs from Integrated Radeon HD 4200 GPU on M4A785T mb have suddenly started
shimmering/flickering badly (it's not the display). Even on the BIOS screen (so it's not the OS).
Is this a problem with the mb, or the Athlon II CPU?
Can I simply add a PCI graphics card and use that to drive the display(s)?
Any suggestions for a cheap card? (business use, no gaming)

Solution
Okay, so this board is old enough to actually have on-board GPU chip, so your CPU is not failing in this case as it has nothing to do with displays.
The board has PCIe 2.0 x16 slot so any not-so modern GPU can be used. Something like NVidia GT 710. Or even used GTX 5xx or 6xx - anything that's still in workable condition should be ok.
