The pc is a HP a6752f with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

I can't seem to get the drivers to work right, It only picks up that HDMI is plugged in. The only HDMI on the pc is from the gt 640 video card, even without it plugged in, it still shows HDMI as plugged in, No other jacks work, not even FP. Any way to fix this?

look up the system on the HP support site and see what drivers there are there.

You can also goto the Device Manager and uninstall (but not delete) the current device. Then reboot and let the system "find the new hardware" and see if it works.

I know about the built in sound selection thing, I linked pictures from it above(imgur.com/a/HT5zP), no matter what I do, it always says hdmi and digital output are plugged in, while everything else says its not

Hmmm... OK back to the beginning. (just looked at the posted image(s), my bad, I did not see the 2nd and 3rd images.

Monitor hookups.. Which are you using? HDMI, DVI, DP?
Sound output in use... Actual, not what Windows reports. Have you tried the front ports vs the rear?

Monitor connection;
If HDMI only, can you try changing to DP or DVI? This will drop the "connected output" to the HDMI and then connect the sound to the mini jack output. Get anything?

The graphics card has only dvi's and mini hdmi, so I used a dvi to vga adapter. I tried every jack and nothing is recognized. Even with a card that has olny dvi/vga/svideo, it still picks up as hdmi plugged in with the realtek drivers
