Hey there: Laptop is a Lenovo G580 bought with Windows 8. I5-3210M Intel CPU using built-in HD 4000 GPU. 12 Gig's of RAM.

I'm using a Samsung 22" HiDef (1920 X 1080) LED TV as a monitor ... model LN22D450G1F hooked up with HDMI straight out of the laptop into the TV.

Intel® HD Graphics Display says i'm 1920 X 1080 ... TV says i'm 1920 X 1080. Why does Http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/ say my resolution is 1280 X 720 ???

I'm baffled ... any help greatly appreciated !

Thanks for the quick reply amuffin but ... When I download 1920 X 1080 resolution pics, they are too large for the screen :eek: . So, the website is correct in my opinion .

* Also if i change the settings to lower resolutions ... same thing happens ... 1600 X 1200 shows as 1067 X 800 etc.

** Plus 1280 X 720 pics fit the screen perfectly.

So i've found out what's been causing this issue. It turns out that changing my display font settings affects my screen resolution. This shouldn't happen but it does, when i set the font back to original size 100% instead of 150%, Http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/ now shows 1920 X 1080 :) .

However, the text is now tiny and hard to see :eek: (i'm old). I'll consider this SOLVED :hello: .
