Im trying to install a chipset driver that was detected on drivermax and i searched and SEARCHED but i just can't find one or update it. Drivermax says its from 2015 and there is one with a version # 19.4.3.58 But when i download chipset driver for my motherboard ASUS Z170-E. It asks if i want to downgrade the current installed chipset. Even in device manager it says no driver is installed for this device. The driver is Intel 100 Series/C230 series chipset family SMBus A123. Any help?

Im also looking for Intel Xeon E3 - 1200/1500 v5/6th Gen Intel Core Host Bridge/DRAM Registers - 191F
Intel Xeon E3 - 1200/1500 v5/5th Gen Intel Core PCIe Controller x16 - 1901

Im not using drivermax to install stuff, im using to to see what drivers might be outdated. I downloaded from intel and i just did a -overall command. It asked me to downgrade for somereason from 10.1.1.13 to 10.1.1.42? does that seem up to date?

That's not the way you want to treat drivers. First of all, Win10 (you are running Win10, right?) has an extensive driver library, and if everything on your computer is working, you don't mess with drivers ("if it ain't broke, you can't fix it..."). Next, you have no idea how DriverMax works, who it connects to, nothing. If you want a driver for your motherboard (which will include the chipset drivers...) go to the manufacturer's website, find your motherboard, and download the appropriate drivers.

I did so, Thanks and thanks for responding to my thread
