Question Intel 10700 & Geforce 4060?

Hello All

Would an upgrade from Geforce 1660 Super to Geforce RTX 4060 work fine? on an Intel 10700 based system?

Currently have a Evga G3 650 Watt
Gigabyte B460M-DS3H Motherboard
Thermaltake V200 TG RGB Case
32GB Ram DDR4 2666mhz
NvMe 500GB Boot drive
Samsung 860 Evo 1TB Game SSD
and 4TB Storage Drive

How old is the PSU in your build? If the unit is brand new, then you should be fine to drop the discrete GPU into the build. If it's used, well, we'd need to know how long it'd powered the entire rig with that GTX1660 Super.

Had this Power supply since 2/21/2018 (that was purchase date) installed in my old Asus Build for a While, then transferred to this Case when i got my Intel 10700 build done in June 2020

Assuming 1080p resolution?? Considering it probably won't be much faster than the 3060 at raw performance and have less vram so settings may have to be lowered on some games,.. sure why not. It's more like a 4050 anyway.

Yes 1080P Resolution, Only Resolution Current Monitor supports.
