I have an intel i5 3570k and a gtx 680 sc graphics card. I just finished running the 3dMark tests, and it told me my cpu was clocked at something like 1,601 mhz...any ideas anyone?
Intel® Speedstep feature built into the processor that clocks down to the processor when it is not in use to save on power and heat. I know some people who overclock turn it off but all it does is save your money. If you run something like Prime95 you would see the proessor running at it best speed for that many cores and temperature.
