Intel-4570 or FX-8320?

Which one of these cpu's will perform better in Multitasking, Gaming, basic computing and future proof? is the Intel worth the extra money?

I would go with the 8320. Cheaper motherboards, as well as eight cores. Right now, that won't be helpful, but later on it will be (when games can fully utilize all eight physical cores). Also, the 4570 cannot be OCed, whereas the 8320 can. However, the i5 may perform slightly better in games, but negligibly so, and only until they can utilize all eight cores. Overall, the 8320 is definitely the better pick.

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/698?vs=701 here are some benchmarks, you can decide what areas you need most. however at the moment, the i5 will out perform the 8320 in most games. idk if you plan on playing planetside 2, if you are you will find a HUGE fps increase from the i5, however i am an amd guy, and i often think that team red can often perform almost as well, but at a much better cost, and dannyboy is right, once games are able to use all 8 cores, the 8320 will perform better in games. that being said, current games, and games for probably the next year wont be using all 8 cores, and by then there will be new processors. so i would say if you are willing to pay the extra money for more framerates, go team blue.
