Intel 4600 vs Nvidia GT 710

I am looking for an upgrade to the graphics in my Intel i5 4460 Lenovo.

Some very light gaming on newer titles, lots of streaming, etc.

Is the Nvidia GT 710 better than my onboard HD 4600 graphics?

It is actually a downgrade. You need at least GT730, but this is also a minor upgrade. 750Ti is your best bet, and is very power-efficient.

It is a Lenovo 300S slim desktop. So I'd need a low profile card. I'm looking to spend about $60.

save your money, not enough to really get anything better. Not unless you want to go to ebay and buy used.

It would definitely be better to buy something used. You should be able to get an HD 7850 for that budget, it should be more than 2.5x faster than HD 4600.

Actually, PSU is also an important factor. Slim desktops usually have low-power PSUs, 300W or so. 750Ti is best option for such PSUs given that it only needs 60W. OP, can you check the PSU model?

According to Micro Center (where I bought this from) It has an 180W PSU

If it is a 150w psu than your definitely going to need yo buy a new one if you want a dedicated graphics card.
