[SOLVED] Intel 660p would work in my case?

Hello,
I have an B450-E from asus paired with a R5 3600. My problem here is i have already installed a Samsung 970 on M2_2 to run NVME mode, i've allready done read the manual more than once and i still don't figure it out if i could pair an intel Intel Consumer SSD 660p 2TB NVMe M.2 in the slot M2_1 from my mobo. I see in the manual that having both M.2 would disable SATA ports and the gpu will run at X8 mode, which dissapoints me.

Also other option would be to buy a newer X570-E or PCI adapter to run the ssd on one x4-x16 lane from the motherboard.
Let me your thoughts to see what can i do before buying the SSD. (Christmas sale)

It will work but Sata ports 5 and 6 will be disabled when m.2_1 is used.

It will make your PCIE slot run at x8 but the difference between x16 & x8 is pretty minimal, maybe a few FPS at most.

But what will happend if i had both working M2_1 and M2_2? They do?

You are already using the M2_2 port which makes the 16x port run at 8x. So by adding another drive to M.2_1 then the only difference you'll see is Sata port 5 and 6 disabled. If you don't use these ports then no harm done as you'll still have 4 functional sata ports on the board.
