I just installed an intel 750 NVMe into my x99 motherboard that already had two Samsung EVOs an 840 and an 850. I did a clean install of windows 10 onto the 750 wiped both EVOs entirely out. Installed Samsung Magician and, twice, have tried to enable Rapid Storage on the 850... which results in a failure to boot. I searched around the internet and didn't find anything even related to the issue.

For now I'll leave it off of course, cause wiping my system out over and over is kind of insane. But does anyone know what the real problem is?

Solution
You can enable RAPID mode on any Samsung SSD connected to the system, doesn't have to be the boot. One of my coworkers has it enabled on his 850 Pro that his secondary storage drive.

You might very well be right, odd however that Magician would even suggest setting Rapid Mode on the two drives that actually aren't bootable.
