Sure hope Tiger Lake makes it to the desktop. An 85 watt variant, even a quad 4.5 base would be nice.

It won't. Intel is skipping Willow Cove for the desktop and going straight to Golden Cove with Alder Lake. Golden Cove is supposed to be a considerable step up from Sunny/Willow Cove, so that's what we want anyway.
