Hi, recently when i booted up my PC, i was unable to connect to the internet. Normally this wasn't an issue because it would resolve once i restarted my pc, but this time it didn't. I used troubleshoot and it said that there was a problem with my intel 82579v gigabit network connection. I checked my device manager and saw that that the network connection was unable to start (code 10). I've tried reinstalling the 82579v driver from intel, disabling and re enabling and tried updating the bios. when i tried updating my bios it reported that image integrity check failed. Im using windows 10 64 bit and a asus p8z68 gen 3 motherboard. I really don't know what to do anymore please help.

I have exactly the same problem with the 82597v network connection on the same Asus P8Z68 gen3 MB. It started about Feb/2017. Can get a connection by having Device Mngr check for hardware changes. Even bought an external USB nic adapter and disabled the onboard connection. That did not fix the problem. There are other issues that are coincident with network problem. Photoshop app bogs down while editing. Could take one or two minutes to complete a fairly simple task. As well, Gmail does not run smoothly in Chrome. OK in IE and Comodo browser. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Open Device Manager

2. click on "Network Adapters"

3. right click on "Gigabit Network Connection"

4. Click on "Scan For Hardware Changes".
Done

Though not a permanent solution, it is Easy and fast.
