I am planning to buy cheap, fast WiFi for my PC.
The AC-8260 ships for 22€ to Germany, so I wanted to give that one a try.
Will this one work as adapter?

Or do I have to buy chinese/taiwan stuff:
http://www.bplus.com.tw/Adapter/M2P2H%20Series.html
[strike]It seems to have a M.2 NGFF 2230 1216 connector.
The first one mentions 2230, the second doesn't.
EDIT
The 7260 has a M.2 2230 connector. One long bit and one one short bit
The 8260 has a M.2 1216 connector. One long bit and two shorter bits
(Intel says here that it exists in 1216 and 2230 variations but I only found 1216)
Both do not mention the card in their compatibility list.
ANOTHER EDIT
Ugh, the 1216 is soldered?? Someone help please, I could only find one pinout sheet and that doesn't really help.
I don't want to confuse people with this thread ^^
M.2 is a multi-purpose adapter group for DisplayPort, PCIe, USB and I2C etc.. right?
So the first one should work because it has PCIe support.
What I have so far:
The ac8260 has an M.2 socket 1 a,e-keyed connector
[/strike]
OK WOW that was easy:

Let's hope he hit the right keys.
Thanks keks
