I beleive this is true.

Many people who have bought Intel seem to be BLIND, and seeing the performance that it has-poor performance, compared to AMD.

Isn't that like a health hazard or something?

Cover your eyes and ears!

While it's very true than Mr. John Doe can be blinded by Gigahurtz, the P4 is becoming a serious contender for the Thunderbird. The recent price drops mean it is now not much below the (benchmark point / dollar) ratio of AMD.

Plus if you're doing video editing, etc. which Intel seems keen on advertising, then it is much faster. You should also check out the news about Photoshop 5 optimsed for SSE2.
