I have a question about my Toshiba Netbook and CPU whether it is 64 bit or 32 bit processor? Actually how would you know which version of Windows should you use with it? When I got around to upgrading from Windows & Starter I think I guessed it was a 32 bit version. I saw a similar question on a Linux forum it seems it may be a 64 bit processor but there was no specific answer about the version of Windows to use. Some input would be nice if anybody can say one way or another, thanks.

Go right to the source, Intel:

"Instruction Set 64-bit "

Well I upgrade the memory to 2GB but I was informed by a person thru the Toshiba Forum that Windows 10 is not compatible with this model. The version I was questioning was 32 bit or 64 bit ? I think I saw on the Intel site that the processor is able to handle up to 4 gb of memory or something like that. Would you say that with only 2 gb of memory you should not use the 64 bit version?

I have 2 systems with 2GB RAM.
An Asus Transformer with an Atom Nsomething CPU. Win 10 Home 32bit. It originally came with Win 8.
A 2009 era Toshiba laptop with a Celeron 2.2GHz CPU. Win 10 Pro 64bit. It originally came with Win 7 (or maybe even Vista)

Both run OK. Slow, but that because they are slow systems.

Install the 32bit Win 10 Home OS. It will be fine.
