I am attempting to use Intel's software to install/update the Intel Chipset drivers for my computer, but the "Intel Wireless Bluetooth Software for Windows 8.1" continually fails to install. The other two parts of the Intel Chipset drivers installed fine but this section of the drivers refuses to install correctly. I can't seem to find a fix that works for me. In addition to this I am having a boot/shutdown error occasionally and the computer will slow, freeze, and crash to a blue screen of death within seconds, sometimes failing to log in to Windows after I enter my user password. It is called the CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error, and although I have seen many posts and threads about it none of the fixes seem to work for me, and I thought perhaps this crash is due to the Intel Chipset not being completely installed? I am beside myself as I have been repairing and working on this computer almost non-stop this week and just want it to all be over and fixed. 🙁 If anyone knows how to help let me know please!
