hello i was wandering if i could put the processor from my dell optiplex 745 sff no upgrades into my dell optiplex gx620 mini-tower. need help

or better yet could i replace the motherboard in this one with a dell optiplex 745 mt motherboard? hopefully yes

Maybe. They both use the same socket T but the motherboards have different chipsets so the sockets could be connected differently. Look on the Dell website and see if you can find a processor compatibility chart.

Dell does proprietary things with their builds so check the motherboard mounting hole positions, back plane postioning, power connectors, and both functional and physical PSU compatibility.
