[fixed]Old PC = Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 @ 2.93 GHz, Win7x86RC
New PC = Intel Xeon E5520 @ 2.27 GHz, Win7x64RTM[/fixed]
Hi all,
I'm a DotNet (software) developer and I'm confused. I just got a super-duper-high-speed-PC, but it's slower than my old-old-PC.
For example I made a simple program that counts from 0 to 5,000,000,000 ... it takes my old computer 19 secs and my new 24 secs 🙁
I'm a CPU noob, so my question is ... can it really be true that my new CPU is that more slow than my old CPU?
Thanks guys,
MojoDK aka sad-man 🙁
