Hello, I got this tower from Acer: Aspire M5641 with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 processor. The fan now is making irritating noise from time to time. Im thinking to replace it, but cant find what I need. Is it really hard nowadays to find a fan for 775 socket with 4 pins and with SCREWS?

I already bought Cooler Master , but due to my lack of enough knowledge it was on push pins, I don't want to unscrew everything just to install a fan on a mobo.

Also, this mini tower has a tube that fits on to the fan, is this an exclusive acer design or smth? I guess I will not be able to install that tube on a new fan, right? Here is a pic:

Anyone can help me find one?

thanks

The idea behind push pins is that you don't have to remove the mobo to install the fan. Can you send a picture of what you are talking about.

As for your current cooler that looks like a stock CPU cooler. You should be able to buy one...

Hard to tell can't see past your cone but my guess is that they are actually push pins. If you twist the screw it just unlocks the push pin. Like this...

If you are looking for a cooler that is screwed into a back plate then here...

I believe you. It looked like a stock cooler which uses push pins that look like screws. Just wanted to make sure.

As for the cooler, it should be fine as long as you are not overclocking.
