Intel Core 2 QUAD Q9300 Downgrade

I gotta new motherboard known as Zebronics G31 , In the box and specifications its written that it supports 1333 Mhz Processors ..And Core 2 quad Too..But When I install Core 2 quad q9300 on it.. It downgrades my fsb to 266 which is for 1066 processors... IDK Why this happeneing Speedstep has been disabled and also Peformance is set to High Please Help Me I have 2x2GB DDR2 800 Mhz Ram

Can you manually set the FSB to 333 MHz? Zebronics have a terrible web site with no info about compatible processors and BIOS versions. Did you login to check if more info is available?

You should be able to manually input the FSB value in the BIOS. Try setting it and reboot. If the motherboard still doesn't post the correct CPU speed and new FSB value then it must be that your new motherboard does not support FSB values over 266 mhz.
