I'm a complete noob in regards to gaming computers. I have had my optiplex 760 for years and it's only purpose is to run iracing.com simulation. Well it was ok for years but it is old and needs upgrading. As iracing went from DX9 to DX11. I still run the sim but with the setting at minimum. Wanting to change that on a budget, all help is appreciated and welcomed. Thanks people

The minimum requirements are listed as i3, i5, i7 or better. Something a clocked core 2 Quad clearly archieves.
Make sure your graphics card fits into the specs.
Also make sure your chipsets supports 8 GB of RAM, which is the requirement listed on their website and the maximum most LGA775 boards support. Some are even limited to 4 GB or below.
