Intel Core i3 2350M vs i5 4200U

Is there a big difference in performance in both the processors ? Leave the graphics portion and the generations (2nd vs 4th).
Still, Is there a big difference.
Should I but a laptop with that i3 or i5 ?
Are both good at daily tasks and other works.
Mainly I want to ask, if the i3 is really good at:
Video calls, Web Surfing, light autocad, photoshop, and matlab ???

Oh... I know that.
I3 is cheap, so i wanna get that.
I saw the cpuboss review.
What tasks can the I3 (2350M) perform well.
Here's my tasks list :
1.Web Surfing
2.Watching youtube Videos
3.Video Chats on Face book
4.Playing Flash Games online
5.Online Chatting
6.Minimum to minimum 3-4 apps open at a time (very frequently)
7.Testing the system once a week.
8.Defragmentation of HDD's once 2 Weeks
9.Disk Cleanup Once 2 weeks
10.Re-Installing Windows every 6 months. (This is called stupidity).
11. Gaming : NFS, GTA3/SA, FSX, Railworks, all at 1024*768 resolution 30 to 35/40 fps possible on low - medium settings ?
Graphics : HD3000 + GT 520M
12. Light to mediocre : Adobe Photoshop, AutoDesk AutoCAD, Matlab

The i3 should do all that but slower than the i5. And it will struggle more than the i5 in gaming.

But then again, so will a gt520m

Will 4GB RAM and Fast SSD do the trick ?

4gb ram is now too small.

SSD will only help Windows load quicker.
