Intel Core I3 3210's Integrated Graphics vs GT 240

Hey guys..So I visited a friend yesterday and I laid hands on his ancient pc rig. He had an Intel E8400 + GT 240 and his rig played dota2 on low settings fine. So my question is : Is the i3 3210's integrated graphics better than the GT 240 because i plan on building an i3 3210 rig w/o vga card and play dota 2 on low until I can save up to buy a discrete gpu ?

i3 3210 has intel 2500hd and it is not designed for 3d games. Even the cheapest graphics cards are better than the dedicated ones.

Hello... PassMark is GT240=654 HD3000=306, the HD2500 is not listed, but will be less than 306... or does not complete Passmark.

what about the core i3 4130's integrated graphics? is it the same?

i3 4130 has intel HD 4400, it is two times more powerful than intel HD2500

so the passmark would be theoritically 612 right ? and dota 2 could run on all low in the mean time ?
