intel core i3 3220 on a Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 motherboard

On the website it says that it will work but read some reviews and it says that you need to flash the bios which ive got know clue how to do that
 
You need a compatible CPU installed on the board to flash the BIOS.

It would only work if the motherboard happens to ship with a newer BIOS, but it's difficult to rely on that unless they're releasing an updated version of a motherboard (so if there was a Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 rev. 2.0 released in late 2012, that would most likely have been fine).
 

if it turns out the revision is to low what cpu would recommend for this motherboard

 
Alright man thanks a lot you've been a great help. Ill probabley just send the motherboard back just a load of unwanted hassle. Is there any other motherboards at that sort of price that would work that processor
