Hey guys, I am looking into possibly building my first gaming PC, my budget is going to be $500, and I will mainly be playing just Minecraft, if I am able to play other games, I might too. But for now, I am having trouble deciding the CPU i want to use, the Intel Core i3-4150, the AMD FX-6300, or the AMD FX-6350. If anyone could tell me which is better for playing Minecraft on max settings with the most FPS, and able to browse the internet and download fast, please tell me. Thanks guys!

The answer to your question is going to come down entirely to personal preference. If it were me, I would pick the i3. I prefer the lower power usage and the higher single-threaded performance. There is nothing wrong with the AMD options you give, however.
If you haven't already, you should read the article about the current best gaming cpus for the money: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106.html
It is well-balanced and informative.
It's not up to the CPU to get good FPS it's the GPU that you need to be looking for. Also, for such as low budget I don't think that you should be looking at these kind of CPU's (especially if you need to buy OS as well) unless you want to be stuck with a crappy GPU. I'd look more in the region of Intel G series or AMD's Athlon series CPU.

Ok thanks guys, I guess i will go with the i3. so what GPU and other parts do you think would be good with the i3 for Minecraft? As long as it is around 500-600, not too much more because I don't have a lot of money. I would also like the build to have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Thanks guys!

I would not necessarily count out the fx-6300. For gaming, it is a very valid option as the graphics rendering usually utilizes multiple cores to a good extent. Though these guys are correct that you do not want to blow your budget, if you're careful enough, you can still get a great GPU, CPU, RAM( the essentials for performance) and use the rest of the money sparingly on parts like the PSU, HDD, and tower.

For GPUs in the range you are looking at, AMD has better performance for the price. Nvidia has better performance for the power used/heat generated. I like the R7 260x and R9 270. On the Nvidia side, the GTX 750 ti performs almost as well and uses a lot less power.
You might also be able to get a good deal on a used/old stock Radeon 78xx or 79xx card.
