My laptop specs(everyday use from Photoshop to Simple gaming):
CPU: Core i3-7100u 2.40Ghz Dual Core with HT.
RAM: 2x4Gb
Integrated GPU: Intel HD 620.
OS: Windows 10 Home
My problem:
Task manager and msinfo only shows one core.
Before it happened I had two cores and 4 logical processors.
I play CS:GO with the frames of around 90+. Now my fps is no more than 50 with frame drops down to 30. I tried turning it on and off(sarcasm intended). Also, Photoshop is laggy and some other programs took 30 seconds to open. Before it happened, windows boot took 13 seconds(timed), now it takes 52 seconds to boot and the logon screen in Windows 10 is laggy.
Anybody know how to fix this?
