If anything some i3s are just rebranded Core 2s with a new socket (LGA 1156), maybe hyperthreading available, and are its replacement after Intel retires the Core 2s in Q3 this year.

You call 4ghz on stock voltage/cooler a re-brand?
I'm guessing you meant replacement instead of re-brand. Your point is valid but it technically is not a rebranded c2d (like nvidia did with the G92 for example). Just didn't want there to be any confusion when people read that hehe.
The Core i3 architecture is more efficient at equal clock rates when compared to a Core 2. In other words Core i3 is faster. Core i3 is not a rebrand of Core 2 since it is a completely new architecture.
Integrated graphics for newer PC's at this moment all H55 boards support this GPU, wich is also found in the i5's.
I dont know if its any good though, i can ensure you that it wont be a gaming rig!
